I have known for awhile that you can register to not receive phone calls at home from solicitors. But I didn’t know until I read this article that you can remove yourself from receiving pre-approved credit card offers (you can also opt back in at any time).
All you need to do is go to this site.
If you’re someone who continually opens up credit cards as a way to “solve” your debt problem, this may be a good solution. It’s a solid way to remove the temptation from your life. You’ll still need to learn how to spend less and live within (or beneath your means), but stopping the credit card offers is a good start.
