It’s easy to think that your debt situation is more overwhelming than what anyone has ever faced before. But that’s usually not the case. Most folks find themselves in similar situations.
Those of us who get out of debt are usually just more aggressive about making it happen. This young man is an extreme example of that. He went so far as to cut rent/mortgage payments completely out of his life by moving into his car on a full time basis.
While this obviously isn’t something I would recommend to anyone, it is an extremely aggressive strategy that has worked for this young man. My guess is that if you show this kind of dedication to getting out of debt that you’ll get yourself back to a solid financial place very quickly.
